The design is classic and has been seen in 1 form or another in various Hot Rod magazines spanning the 50's, 60,s and 70,s. This 1 was built in Edmonton, Alberta about 10 yrs ago based on a 70's hot wheel design. Features a sweet running 350 from a 70's Camaro, 350 AT, with MOPAR radiator, Mustang II front clip, with rack and pinion steering and Nova rear end. Disc brakes on front, shoes on rear. All recent. Body is steel original with fibreglass fenders. Doors are shaved with electronic opener. Seats are Oldsmobile and power operated. Windows are also power. ( 1 doesn't work and glass cracked-we've been using some simulated bullet holes for character ) Tilting steering wheel, powered steering. Compact disc player in dash. Paint is hot rod black and flames and Von Dutch ( trunk lid) professionally applied. No headliner, but make no mistake, this is a street rod, not a rat rod. Car has been taken to many car shows on Vancouver Island over the past few years, part of our Adams Polishes display. Has been featured on car show programs.
